My Valentine & OotD

I am so lucky to have a Valentine. Granted, this is our sixth one! And our six year anniversary is on the 23rd. I can't believe we've been together for so long! I feel so lucky to have Thomas in my life. I love and adore him so much!

This year we kept it simple and had a picnic at the lake because it was unseasonably warm. We got pizza and had fun feeding the seagulls the crust while watching the sunset. I love living near the sea!

For VDay Thomas got me a bouquet of cherry flavored heart-shaped lollipops. So cute and yummy! He also got me some earrings, pink hairband and cookies. (I got him some Star Wars candy hearts that say things like "may the love be with you" and silly things like that. And the red M&M dressed as a Jedi with candy inside.)

"Flowers die but at least you can eat candy."

And finally, another Outfit of the Day! Though I know it's not that girly but at least I have my heart-shaped shades.

Not my best outfit, but I actually don't own much pink or red so I put a mostly-thrifted outfit together as best I could with my layered tulle dress, and thinking it would be colder. I promise I own cuter stuff.

In conclusive I'm lucky to have him by my side because he puts up with a lot, and I love him to pieces! Hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day!

  2. This sort of makes me want to puke tiny little chocolate hearts all over the computer screen.....you guys are too cute! And I think you should wear the heart glasses every day. And also be buried in them when you die, because then I would laugh/cry at your funeral. Assuming I outlive you...otherwise, you can wear them to my funeral and everyone will wonder who invited the weird girl with the heart glasses and I'll be like, "I did!" and then people won't care that you're wearing heart shaped sunglasses to my funeral, because apparently I'm dead, but can talk. So, yeah, cute outfit.

    1. Haha Berta. We're not too bad. I actually do wear the heart glasses sometimes! I need more in different colors, though.
Haha.... you are a silly lady, that is why I love you!

  3. Hello lovely, thank you so much for your nice comment! :) this post is so sweet, you two are such a cute couple! I love that you both bought presents that aren't so traditional, but are so you!! Thoughtful presents mean so much more than going with the norm I think. I really envy you living right by the sea, I'm intending to drag my boyfriend the car ride away to the nearest 'beach' this weekend... it's like a boat graveyard, and moody weather suits it best! It is lovely to wander along in Summer though xx

    1. Aw, thank you Hannah! I would say we aren't very traditional in a good way :)
That beach sounds like an interesting place to take pictures at! I haven't been to the sea in ages though, I need to go back!
