A week of Spring events

Thomas and I spent Easter with his family. I am saddened to say that I cannot share any photos of the kids because of privacy reasons, I'm quite sad about it.

But I did take this one with Thomas while I was there. I had just gotten out of the pool so I look ....less than great.

So here is basically what I wore there...

Hairbow: Icings
Dress WITH POCKETS- Walmart (I know, right?)
mint leggings: Target
Socks- Target
Shoes- Macy's
Mint Heart-Shaped Sunglasses- Hot Topic
Stayed tuned for more adventures! Including Utah, Santa Monica, Venice, and Disneyland!

Arrival of the Birds

Our Easter was mildly eventful. We finished filming one of Thomas' videos and then we went to the park for photos. I haven't had a photoshoot (unpaid & with Thomas) in almost a year! And I had recently purchased a very spring-y dress so I though I would do an outfit of the day! Plus there was this marvelous white Japanese pear tree that just drew me into it.

Dress by MissChevious
Hairbow from Ross
Belt is a ribbon I tied around my waist
Socks from Target
Shoes were thrifted

And now some photo spam, and a song to go with it, since I missed New Song Sunday.
It's called Arrival of the Birds by The Cinematic Orchestra, it's absolutely gorgeous and BIG, but in such a lovely way. I even gave thought to walk down the aisle to it! It's just amazing, especially the first half. Oh, and it was also featured in an Armani commercial and I love his fragrances!

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Voodoo Doughnuts

The past couple of weeks have been quite busy. Work is keeping me on my toes because right now I'm basically there when someone else doesn't want to or can't. It's about the equivalent of part-time but I'm still doing a bit of modeling. My gig last Sunday was in Portland... which meant trip time! Portland is only about 40 minutes away but we don't go too often. I love it there though, and this time we got to go to Voodoo Doughnuts!

The line was pretty long, I'd say we waited about 15 - 20 minutes, if that. I honestly was not expecting a line... I know they're popular... but geeze!

Thomas and I filmed our reactions to a couple of doughnuts!

The doughnuts made us very jittery though and I don't recommend eating more than one at a time, but the oreo doughnut is fantastic!
The modeling shoot was fun and payed some bills. I forgot to do an Outfit of the Day which sucks because I looked cute... but you can kind of see it in the video (and the weird way I sit on my left leg...)

Today is Self-Harm Awareness Day. Stay Strong, and of course think lovely thoughts!
